"The modern grinding process is becoming increasingly complex: extreme accuracy, perfect quality and reduction of set-up times under enormous price pressure. To be able to meet these requirements, we have developed two clamping devices.
One is the µGrind Booster, an automatic quick-action chuck that can be aligned in 2 planes to the machine. Highest concentricity and repeatability, in combination with the excellent damping properties, as well as the low interfering contours enable a uniform material removal at optimized feed rates. μ Precise alignment by means of 2 dial gauges in just a few minutes, with absolute repeat precision when changing blanks and clamping sleeves.
